Refractive Surgery

Midwest Eye Consultants’ vision for eye care extends beyond providing quality frames and lenses. We also offer services in refractive surgery to reduce or eliminate the need to wear glasses or contact lenses.

Midwest Eye Consultants has always been at the forefront of new technology, providing lens-free vision alternatives to our patients. Major advances in technology continue to make the available options more exciting than ever. Patients are often overwhelmed when they experience sudden, dramatic vision improvement directly after their procedure.

Many vision correction centers only offer LASIK consultation, but Midwest Eye Consultants is a full-service center, offering all options for patients to consider. Our extensive expertise includes custom LASIK, implantable collagen lenses (ICL), and clear lens replacement (CLR) to correct the highest amounts of nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.

For patients who have experienced presbyopia, or the aging process of the eye, we now offer NearVision CK and the latest intraocular lens surgery to improve vision near to far. We have options for all ages!

If you haven’t chosen to reduce or eliminate your need for glasses or contact lenses, these major advances in technologies have made your wait worthwhile.

If you have any questions or if we can be of service to you, please do not hesitate to contact the offices nearest you.

Payment Information

Most insurance companies consider laser vision correction surgery to be an elective procedure. Therefore, it is not covered under basic health or vision plans. At Midwest Eye Consultants, we don’t believe that finances should be an obstacle to seeing a brighter future. That’s why we offer patients many payment options, including financing with low monthly payments through CareCredit.

If your employer offers a flexible benefits plan, you may be able to pay for your correction procedure with pre-tax dollars through a health care spending account (Flex Plan).

If you choose to pay cash, check, money order, or major credit card, you will often be eligible for a discounted rate on your procedure.
