As the proud sponsor of Family Fun Night at the Wabash County Historical Museum, our doctors and staff have the opportunity to volunteer and interact with families in the Wabash community. This event takes place during every First Friday and includes a lot of fun activities for kids and their parents. Our volunteers have helped with crafts, created their own giant coloring sheet, and enjoy being a part of this great community event every month. They also enjoy volunteering at the local animal shelter. These patient care experts love extending their care through these eye on community events.
Dr. Lindsay Culver and her family have started their journey as Leader Dogs for the Blind puppy raisers. She was inspired to go on this journey with her family by not only the partnership we have but what it represents. Leader Dog provides dogs to their clients and the training needed at no cost. Dr. Culver enjoys sharing information about Leader Dogs for the Blind with her patients. She knows a life changing diagnosis can lead to feelings of depression and isolation. A leader dog can help a person regain their independence and confidence!
